The Hunting of the Snark - Lewis Carroll

The Hunting of the Snark

What I tell you three times is true.

Follow the nonsense adventure of the intrepid Bellman and his misfit crew of hunters on a quest to find a Snark. ‘But oh, beamish nephew, beware of the day / If your Snark be a Boojum! For then / You will softly and suddenly vanish away, / And never be met with again!’ This edition includes charming illustrations by Nic Rawling.

Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) was an English author, logician, and Anglican deacon. His penchant for absurd comedy carefully veiled the social and political critique underpinning his stories and poems. His most famous works are in the genre of literary nonsense, but it was his work as a mathematics tutor at Oxford which provided his most stable income. He died, like so many before him, of influenza.
